    Default Favorite floats/ bobbers?

What do you guys like float/ bobber wise for gills? I have in last few years learned allot about floats and use much smaller size than I have in the past. I have been using thill as of lately when fishing crappie. But is there any specific types you guys prefer more when fishing Gills?

Also I been using size 8 try turn Aberdeen hooks and they seem to be on the small size. They really get it down in there. I was thinking of going to a #6.
Wanting to get couple things ordered as it's getting into the bluegill spawn in our area. Thanks!

I use a small ice fishing float and a jighead tipped with bait.

I will add that is what I use when fishing bait. I do much better using a flyrod and a Betts spider.

    For casting, I use wagglers.

For still fishing, I use very light English pole floats:

I use a Thrill stick bobber that I balance for the weight of the lure I am using.

    XXX,

Same here! For a fun day and catchin' over 100 bluegills, a fly rod is the way to go. I use a 3 wt with a foam spider size 12.

Only when the 'gills are in deep water is when I use my UL spin and a drop shot?

I like the weighted foam(round, cigar or pear shaped) and usually use the cigar shaped.

I use the little ones that are not weighted.
