    Default Gills from The Hollow

Here are a couple of pics of some of the larger 'gills Gordo and I caught on Dale Hollow. The large ones seem to be in about 15 to 20 ft of water. Bait was large meal worms and we also caught some with jigs and crappie nibbles. The bite seemed best after 4 PM until dark. After that, the kentuckies seemed to rule.

Very nice. I really like those rich blue colors on the fish.

    Very nice gills.

Dale is on the border of KY/TN.

This report comes at a good time. I have a vacation in two weeks, and my dad has a cabin on DH. I'll try your bait and location tactics. What part of the lake were you on? Closest ramp to me is Cove Creek, but I can put in very near Shear Pin if the water is right.

    Montagc,

We were down close to the dam....but any good deep cove should work this time of year. Good Luck !

PM me when you go down...and perhaps we could meet at a good spot !

    Some are definitely pigs, congrats.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
