    Default Upcoming Pine Creek trip

BigFin and I have scheduled our annual Pine Creek camp the 15th thru 20th of this month. This certainly is no Crappie Camp of old. I think Covid killed those. But, I'll have a charcoal grill available if anyone wants to join us. It's always great to sit around after supper and visit following a day of fishing. We will tent camp at H09, which is near the water. I went down there yesterday to check the condition, and there were lots of boaters cleaning fish. The lake was a little over 4 ft high but looked good. It's dropped almost a ft since then. If conditions go bad between now and then, it only costs $10 to cancel. I'm pretty sure Hat55 will show up. Come join us. BYOB and food.

I went by Sardis on the way home and there were even more campers there with cleaning tables and freezers. It's a great time to be out .

Sorry, like most, I don't get on much anymore. Water at Pine Creek was coming up fast, so we diverted to Wister. Fish were scattered but we caught a bunch. Going back tomorrow.
