Default fishing the may fly hatch

the crappie seem to be STUFFED with may fly and larvae right now. what few I am catching is on the standing timber. but it is not much.
years ago we had a crappie.com tourney at Wister. it was during the hatch. I busted around catching my fish off brush piles and laydowns . but when it came weigh in time. all the winners seemed to focus on long shallow rocky points. they were all catching fat may fly crappie. I fish oolagah mainly. I can not seem to pattern them in this hatch. who else is fishing the hatch and what your techniques? can you see them on your graph or are they glued too tight to the bottom?
