I fish Hudson when Tenkiller is way high.
I haven’t been up there in about a year.
There is some great fishing in Hudson.
Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

Hey guys. New to the forum. Is no one fishing Hudson or just not sharing catches. I would share mine if there was one. Just getting new to me boat set up for fishing. Got active target installed just waiting on trolling motor to come in. Tried yesterday with out a trolling motor. No luck staying around the fish with wind and current. I can tell you I believe they are holding in about 10pm of water waiting for the spawn. Temps are mid 50’s so should be to much longer before they spawn.

no worries. I see boats out all the time. I know some bound to be fishing for crappie. I should have my ride ready to go by next weekend. I will definitely post if I can find them. Thought about making the trip to ten killer. May one day but it’s hard when the boat is in the water at hudson already.
Most of the crappie fishermen go to Indian Springs on Hudson.

The old adage holds true, "They could be anywhere". That said these spots worked out for me most of the time. Had some dry days as well so be patient.
Periodically troll crank baits along the rip-rap before you cross over into Salina. Stay about 10 to 12 feet off the bank while zigzagging in an out in an S curve. The depth varies so watch the electronics!!
Another spot is troll along the breaks along the river channel from Spavinaw Creek to the bridge on Strang Road near Hudson lake Inn. Zig Zag in and out of the river channel while crossing over and along the breaks along the shelf. It can get shallow so be careful. I caught some very nice crappie there in 5 to 7 feet of water in the summer.
I have caught some real nice crappie in these spots long line trolling. Try various colors until you find what they want. Solid black, yellow crawfish type (Cotton Cordell CRD Grappler Shad) and shad (Arkie Size 220 Sexee Shad) colors worked best for me. Also Arkie Pink (Solid and various combinations) Size 220. It changes so don't get settled on any one color unless you are catching fish. As an example one day caught several on a solid white crankbait. Would not touch anything else. Try 1 mph to 1.5 mph in speed.
Recently moved to Alabama so I am starting all over!!
