Sucks on the rod/reel over the boat.....I did it to one of my dads poles when I was probably 10 or so.....it’s almost like a right of passage with kids and fishing.....dads just have to accept it!! Oh no....my kids are 11 and 13 but we haven’t lost any yet......I have a bad feeling all of a sudden

I’m late on the report due to work but we had success in caney creek this last weekend for sandbass...only 2 crappie but we didn’t target them.....baits of choice roadrunners, redeye shad, small Alabama rig but I think we all know you can dang near use anything this time of year. Well over 100 sandbass caught over a couple of afternoons....highest water temp we saw was 60 in the afternoon.y

Very nice 10killer.
That's the 2nd rod my daughter dropped into the water. Ironic that the combo is the exact same thing as before. I guess that rod isn't meant to be mines lol. And yes I also enjoy eating whitebass as well. I'll be back out soon...

Went this afternoon and WT was 58, I guess the rain last week dropped it 5 degrees or so.
Fish were still biting.
