Nice, Redge. I'll not be down till early next month. This is my month for Cataract surgery. How deep were they? I don't like fishing deeper than about 25 ft on a lake with a length limit. I did manage a meal or two shallow late last month from a local lake. I need to get down and open the rv up.

Wow, congratulations on a fine outing!
Nice job Redge! All your post got me motivated so I had to go try my luck. Been on hard water lately so it's nice to come back and put the boat to use. Didn't know chicken creek n snake creek ramps were closed.... ended up with 3 crappies, 3 lmb, 2 smb. WT 50-51 fish were in 25-30 fowAttachment 416166Attachment 416167

I don't know why they're closed. Maybe they close thus time of the year? Maybe Redge might know. I drove by today and the sign " park closed" is up now up..
Fished today, slower bite. 1 blue 3 drum 1 lmb. I just can't seem to get into a consistent bite here.
I don’t know why they are closed.
I certainly appreciate the info.
I almost ran out of chicken creek last week! Yikes.

I have found it wise to call and see what ramps are open.
I would have never guessed they would be closed.
Bet that smaller gave you a tussle!

Attachment 416436 I think they closed those ramps due to a covid outbreak. Probably better fish a different area.
