I’m not hip to Arcadia but if you’re on Facebook there is a group named OKC crappie report and there was several posts about Arcadia this year. Sure someone there can help if not here.
Does anyone have some tips or tricks for the crappie bite in the fall at arcadia? I will be taking my daughter this week to set jugs and crappie fish. Im in a kayak so I was wanting an area of the lake to zone in on for the crappie since I can't cover much ground. I noticed standing timber on the south with a channel close by. Wondering if anyone has had luck there or know the depth of that timber... Thanks in advance

It is illegal to set jugs on Arcadia until 12/1/20. The jugging season is 12/1/20 - 3/1/21
Whoaaa, I didn't know that. The website i saw and just checked again says first of November through last day of February... I also saw 2 other boats running jugs so I wonder if I need to find a different website for the rules. I checked the edmond lake info...
Slab Student - My information came from one of the wildlife commissioners for the City of Edmond who originally set the jug fishing dates and I have known for 40 years.
Arcadia Lake | Edmond, OK - Official Website
◦Jug lines are allowed from the first of November to the last day of February. No jug lines will be allowed from the first day of March to the last day of October
This was taken from the official Edmond/Arcadia lake website
Not trying to start anything but one of the sources is not correct.
Apparently this is a change from the last several years. My source stands corrected
