    Default Hudson Lake

Thought I would share my recent experiences. Finding 10 to 15 inch crappie in flooded timber out in the river. I troll with crank baits and zig zag in and out of the 10 feet or so water back out into the river channel up to about 30 feet deep. White has been the color recently running about 8 to 12 feet deep. You have to cover a lot of water until you find them and tolerate the sand bass. They are thick in the timber now.

This has been my experiences in this heat.

Forgot to add 1.5 to 1.8 mph. No faster if you can help it in the wind.
