    Wild Life Dept. is showing good reports at Birch. Looking for any tips from the bank areas for my son and I.

    Access is limited to only one ramp on Birch. I was there on Friday and saw about 40 boats swarming the lake. Fish were in 20-34 fow suspended 14-18’ deep. I looked shallow and never found fish. Never saw anyone catching fish on the banks but since I only caught females I’m guessing the males were preparing nests somewhere. Water temps were 58-62 by 2pm. That’s not much help but that’s all I have. I can tell you that the available courtesy dock was not producing fish- but was busy and making social distancing impossible! Good luck.

    Birch was my home lake back in the 80's... back then 6 or 8 boats at the ramp was a crowded day they had a slot limit on bass and crappie wasn't on my list, it was the nicest lake in the Tulsa area though.
