    Default wister lake timber

we are going to wister in april for our annual father sons fishing trip. i can't find hardly any info on the lake regarding timber/brush piles/ etc but what i'm trying to really figure out is in regards to navigating the lake. is there timber everywhere or has it been cut out or boating lanes? i love fishing new lakes but this is the part i don't like. don't want a busted up boat ruining a trip and a bunch of fat guys swimming to the bank. i normally use the waterproof hot spots lake maps to see where timber is located but it doesn't look like they have one for wister? thanks for any help

Yes there is timber and stumps. State placed brush piles, some are marked.
Best I can tell you is to use google earth and go back to a date with low water.
Then you could get an idea.
