    Default Grand Lake Lodging

My wife and I are thinking about heading to Grand to chase some white bass and crappie this spring, late March. Can anyone recommend some place to stay? I think we want to be on the upper end/ Twin Bridges area. Thanks.

Depends on what type of accommodations you want and how far you want to drive. My suggestion would be Indigo Sky Hotel and Casino in Seneca on Hwy 60 right across the Missouri line from Neosho. You'd only be about 10 miles East of Twin Bridges from there.

The River Bend Hotel and Casino is just a couple of miles east of Twin Bridges in Wyandotte right there on Hwy 60 but I don't know anything about it.

Miami, (Mi-am-uh) lol, is north of Twin Bridges by 11 miles and it's a pretty good size town with a few different choices of Hotel's and Motels.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the info. I don’t mind a 10-15 mile drive. I do prefer something with a kitchenette. I don’t like having to eat out so much. We could always “tailgate” for a couple days. I’m not familiar with the lake at all but everything I’ve read says that’s where we need to be that time of year. Do the whites run up the Elk? Would we be better off staying around Grove?

They do run up the Elk.

Grove would definitely be a more centralized spot, lots of fishing docks around, restaurants, motels, stores, marinas, etc.,

I will be there the weekend if March 15 for a few days. We always stay at the casino. I will also make a few day trips before that to get on them. Pm when you get ready to go and I will help show you where to go up the river.

Thanks for the replies, I appreciate the help.

bgctrading- that would be great! We haven’t decided if we are going to Grand, but if we do, I will get ahold of ya.

Spring river for white bass is good. Crappie is good on that side as well.
