    GM,
Normally Lake Hefner can be pretty good. I've been skunked twice, one being 5-9pm yesterday. Previous years the water has been historically low and I think it's hurt the spawn. So, Overholser and Draper are not know to consistently produce much. I may get corrected. West of Norman is Thunderbird and brush pile and then woody shallow cover produce from boats, but bank fishing is pretty limited. There are the Shawnee Twin Lakes, I've never been, maybe someone will chime in. Thirty minutes up the Turnpike at Chander lie The old Chandler City Lake and 1 mile away is Bell Cow, known for Florida Bass. I grew up in N.E. Oklahoma and Crappie fishing here is nothing close to that. The best shot for her will be Arcadia Lake just East of Edmond. The Fishing Dock is the spot, friendly people. You do pay about $7 to get in.
Anyone else have a place to help a girl fish?
