Enid Area?
Hi folks. My son-in-law recently go assigned to Vance AFB. Was wondering if there were any good places in the area to wet a line from the bank and find some slabs? Pretty familiar with most methods of fishing for crappie, but would like to know if there are any places around Enid to get out. Figure I will be visiting them thru the next two years or so and would like to try the OK crappie out.

Bob you are 80 Miles from Kaw Lake in Enid. PM me and I can give you some good places to bank fish at Kaw during the spawn, which usually starts around the middle of April.

Bob, I live in Enid...retired USAF myself. Shoot me a PM with your son-in-law’s name & number and I’ll do what I can to help. I fish alone quite often, so I have room in the boat.
And that offer for some bank fishing spots from TimY...don’t pass that up. He definitely knows what he’s doing when it comes to Kaw!!
