Default Dock Demon rod and reel

I'm getting my daughter a Zebco Dock Demon spin cast combo for her birthday. I've heard of people using these for pan fish off docks and vertical jigging off docks with them. Anyone have experience with them?

Both my 4 yr old and 6 yr old boys have them. Only poles they've used and love them. Pretty stout little things for the price, they put up to a decent beating surprisingly.

Good to know. My daughter wants a Moana pole but I know those character ones are cheap and break easy so I figured a dock demon would actually hold up.

The dock demons are great. Especially for kids. Cheap. Tough. Does the job. Compact (i keep one in my jeep) the drag on the spincast is not there lol so panfish with 4lb is fine. But bigger than that dont count on the drag. But the rods are super tough i used a big apin cast and 12lb on it at the river ond time.
