    I'll admit that I've been killing them. For instance, I used an ice spoon yesterday for several hours, getting 40 fish and missing 40. Unfortunately, the largest one was 9 1/2 inches. I'm guessing that the 40 I missed had an average of about 4.5 to 7 inches. BUT, a switch to a black/purple hair jig netted 3 0ver 11" and 3 just over 10", a far cry from one of your "off" days.
    I may be put on the temporarily inactive list pretty soon. Will find out Thursday. Maybe a minor procedure, maybe major.

    Got out for a few hours tonight. Water temp was 53. 7 keepers and a couple shorties. I saw lots of fish and got lots of bites but could only manage to hook a few.     Wound up getting a stent. Had 90% blockage of an artery. All good now (thankful for the prayers). However, an evil nurse said there would be no fishing for at least three days. Actually, all three nurses were very nice.

    48 degree water temp this morning.
    I am certainly a blessed man, to be able to enjoy all of this.
