I put Brian on my prayer list.

Brian says he is on some pretty heavy pain meds, and probably will be for several more weeks. Doctor says maybe back to fishing in two months, which he says will give him lots of time to make more ice spoons. Thanks again for the prayers. He says he really appreciates every prayer.
Finally got out on my home lake again.
Been staying closer to home and fishing different lakes.

Were you catching mostly spawning or post spawn fish?
Denvervet, I have yet to catch a spawned out female. WT on upper end was 67, Saturday morning, Sunday morning on the lower end WT was 62. I don't fish for the spawning fish in the traditional sense, ie up in shallower water close to the edge of the water.
I fish structure in deep water most of the time.
Denvervet sent you a pm.
Hi all,
Glad I found an active thread about Tenkiller. I usually fish Ft Gibson, and haven't fished Tenkiller in many years. However, with Ft Gibson being up 13-14 ft I decided to give Tenkiller a try today. It was a struggle to say the least!
I put in at Pettit and fished around there for a while in the morning only catching one fish. I moved to Carlisle Cove and fished for a while without seeing much fish. Caught two small largemouth. Wrong species. Moved from there to south of Cookson in a cove near a swim beach (not sure what it's called) . There I saw quite a few good sized crappies on the livescope roaming in 10-13fow, but they were so spooky I couldn't get closer than 15-20ft from them. Chased them for quite a while before giving up on them.
Finally, I moved back near Pettit in a cove closer to main channel and picked up a couple more in deeper water before calling it quits.
I am going to give it a try again tomorrow, this time maybe heading further north (maybe Dry Creek?). Being unfamiliar with crappie patterns on Tenkiller, any help or suggestions appreciated!
