Oops! Meant to include that. They were both 15.5” long and the shallow fish weighed 2.50 while the deeper went 2.61. My previous pb was 2.27 so this was a pretty exciting event for me and for Miss Beasley.

Very nice, George. Crappiewrangler has been having fun with trying to get his jigs down in that deeper water. He's been sticking with jigs and getting some great fish down at Texoma. He has some very good videos on Youtube. Give Miss Beasley a belly rub for me.

My Rod was a little bendy and I made a spectacle of myself swinging em in- hopefully nobody was around with a go pro or I would never hear the end of it! I tried to do the right thing and use jigs but it was windy and I couldn’t hold in place while they floated down to where the fish used to be so I drop shotted big minnows above a half ounce sinker. These two were on the same tree in 15 fow. If I found timber that wasn’t soaked in Shad I found fish and they were nice ones. These two joined the genetics improvement program in my back yard pond. I need some selfie lessons but you get the idea. And I will never figure out how to turn pictures right side up- don’t even try to teach me.

Nice! I wanted to get out with those warm days but it just didn't pan out. I will end up going on a 24 degree day with 25mph wind. That is always the days that I have available to fish.

Friend looking for a guide on Eufaula. He has no gear, is new to the state and would be happy catching just about anything.
Crappie or Sandbass would be good for him I'm thinking.

Lots of eufaula guides but Mark McGuire is # 1. I think Eufaula is a real tough bite right now. You may want to ask about that. Mark is Ranger09 on c.c.
