I have been able to find the Livescope transducer for $1350 shipped and paid $600 for a 93sv with traditional transducer on Black Friday. If anyone wants more info on where to get the transducer send me a PM.

Does anyone here have any insight on the LiveScope LVS12 transducer? It can be seen on Garmin's website at Panoptix LiveScope™ LVS12 Transducer | GARMIN and is only $499. If not out, I am wondering when it might be available. It does not require a black box, but unfortunately looks like it is currently only compatible with the very pricey GPSMAP 8400/8600 series. Also wondering if they will make lesser expensive GPSMAP or ECHOMAP units that are compatible with it. Would be nice to knock a thousand off the cost of a LiveScope setup.

Call the Garmin tech support guys. They will be able to answer those questions. The new LVS12 came up in conversation last time I spoke with them, I dont remember exactly what he said, but I do remember that 93sv plus set up was less expensive than the LVS12 set up due to head unit compatibility.

Fishing the back of main lake coves in water 10 feet deep. Fish are cruising at 2 to 6 foot deep. Get them to see the jig, then pull it away from them to get them to bite. Two days of incredible fishing. Targeting individual fish and coercing them to bite, would be impossible without live scope.Attachment 330061

Can you use a split screen with map and LS on the same screen? If so I'm most likely going to have a HB Mega 9 SI for sale real soon. I will have my LS Wednesday. My plan is to have it installed before my Talquin trip.
