If it's your son your talking about, you as a parent get a BY. Nothing is of limits. Lol One of the perks of being a parent.

Just completed 2 plus hours of training at work to be eligible for our gain share at work. 30% about respect and attitude and 70% don't hurt my feelings. If I'm a slacker you can't call me out. You and the rest of the team have to do my work for me. If I have an idea that stinks you have to like it. If I brag on myself you should pat me on the back and say good job.
Another indicator I should go ahead and retire. Trying to make it another 16 months.

Redge- I can’t figure out you minnow snobs. I keep Arkansas Jigs on the boat until the water temps fall below 60*. Tho I have to admit it’s more fun on jigs and I also admit that you are a lot better at this than I am due no doubt to your misspent youth. Once I get bored unhooking a hundred fish I may just join you in your anti minnow world but for now I’m still a newbie trying to put other greenhorns on fish. Thanks for chiming in peacemaker.

I’m not anti minnow, just don’t have a reasonable place to get them.
Where we buy them the owner counts them individually! Wish someone sold them by the pound down here.
They are a hassle, but whatever works I am all in!
August is minnow month on my lake, usually catch 100-200 fish an outing, you have to weed through the dinks for keepers.

Yeah I don't know why they only sell by the dozen in the city area. The 2 places I use to buy them at now count them one by one. Did find a gas station off Harrah road just North of 10th st about a 1/4 of a mile. The owner would send his son out to get them and I swear 2 dozen would be 4 maybe 5 dozen at a time. Can't say it's like that now as school has started and the kid is probably not at the station as much helping his dad.

Redge, where are you buying minnows at Tenkiller? Jimmy Houston's has always given me a reasonable amount without counting. The store in Gore has a new owner for about a year. Haven't bought any yet.....

Yeah, I would use minnows more if I didn't have to buy them by the dozen. Sometimes, if I'm going to a lake for a few days I'll go to Suchy's minnows in Purcell and buy a pound or two. When I lived at Longtoiwn (Eufaula) I always bought by the pound.
