You could use Probuilt jigheads and throw the super glue away?
Plastics will last a lot longer by using a very simple procedure. Use a ball head jig. Wrap the shank from bend to the head with dental floss, wrapping from the bend to the head and then back. Tie a simple knot and snip off the tag. Slide the plastic on so it's just the way you want it. Then slide it back down so it's on the bend of the jig. Apply a drop of super glue, and slide the plastic up to the head. That plastic will not slide down and it can be ripped up, but will still stay in place. The negative?: You can't just slide the plastic off and try another one. You have to retie. That's why I carry multiple rods, all with different jigs. Another tip: Some plastics will stiffen with age. Put a little mineral oil in the bag that the plastic came in. The plastic will remain very flexible.

Bigskyfisherman thanked you for this post
Bigskyfisherman that is defiantly some goods tips and I like the mineral oil idea, had not heard of it before so will give it a try. I came across pro built by accident; here is my experience with them.

Always have a bottle or two of superglue with me. Doesn't take much but sure helps on some of my plastics.
Wire retainers work well and allow quick bait changeout, and screw locks work for even better at securing baits.

Good tip but man leave them type of heads to hand tie on. Best style heads I found to keep plastics on are the egghead or walleye head. Something about that rib that wraps around and the longer lead barb keeps the plastic on better.
Works of art as always there DrNip.
Them jigs look good. I use a little superglue it works and they dont slide down. To keep my plastics fresh year round just a little bang fish attractant spray
