I too have gone, when I had to stop by the car wash to get the 1/2” inch of ice off the boat! LOL

I didn't get skunked but would like to have done better. Missed a few bites. That doesn't help. I decide where I am going to fish based on the forecast. They have missed the wind direction the last several times in a row. When they are biting really light missing the wind forecast makes a big difference.
At least I located a new brush pile.
State fishing report says use dark colored jigs in the stained water in Texoma. I wouldn’t disagree with a government official for love or money but I will say that I am doing best on bright colors right now in the stained water.
There has been some kind of weather front everyday for 6 days in a row. I am really struggling with the arthritis tonight. I have enough pain killers in me to put down large animals and I’m still conscious enough to be on here complaining. It’s going to be a long rough night. There is no one else to complain to so you guys get to hear it.
Sorry bout the pain but I’m constantly checking in on your fishing report. Thanks for that.

Sorry about the complaints. I’m not responsible for what I say when I’m medicated :). I couldn’t remember how to delete the post when I read it this morning. Thanks for the sentiment and the encouragement.
I know people that have chronic illness’ and they all ask me why I don’t join a support group as they have. I tell them I crappie fish so crappie.com is my support group. :biggrin
Some people THINK they know what chronic pain is like, but until you actually experience it (as I do), you don’t really know! Fortunately for me, mine is controlled for the most part; and yes, crappie.com is a great support group. We keep going but sometimes have to call a time out.
I know just what you mean. I get put in time out a lot. :)
Oh. You meant a different kind of time out :). Send me a pm wood and tell me what is working for you. My dr has me on 4 different kinds of narcotic pain meds. I rotate around so that dependency does not become a problem. I don’t want to endure another surgery. This winter none of them are working. Every day when the sun goes down and the atmosphere compresses I start struggling. If I post anything particularly stupid or abrasive I hope you folks understand it’s not me but the meds. From dark to daylight I may need adult supervision :)
