New to forum and new to tenkiller lake. Any updates on recent fishing or anyone care to share some tricks, tips, locations, etc. for lake tenkiller? Planning to go for a few days the first weekend of November.

    Thanks in advance

My boats in the shop, impatiently awaiting a diagnosis!
I would hit brush piles from 8-18 right now.
Chicken creek to carters landing, if it was me.
Do you have a place on the lake?
Please post water temp if you go fishing.

My parents bought a place in chicken creek, whiskey creek area. I'll definitely post an update with water temp. We are also going to run a few jugs for cats. Weather looks iffy, but we are planning to go Nov. 1-4. Any thoughts on jig size and colors that work best. We like most people have entirely too many color options and unopened bags.

1/16, 1/8 monkey milk, pumpkin chartreuse.
What kind of boat do you have, ie in case I see you on the lake I’ll holler at you.

    Default Tenkiller Lake Report 2018

Quick update, finally got my boat back.
Took a quick trip yesterday afternoon.
Fish were where I thought they would be, however they were finicky at getting them to bite.
Brought home half a limit for dinner.
Had to go help with a deer so no picture.
    XX10 have you been out?
    Current water temp 64.

Went fishing with a friend Saturday.
The fish did not treat us well at all.
8 fish total, 4 really nice keepers.
    WT 63.
Not sure why they were not biting,
