Caught a bunch of keepers between my dad and I on the bank at the low water dam Saturday morning. Figured I'd post here since the game warden I met on Saturday said that section of water falls under "Ft. Gibson" crappie regulations.

I tore 'em up last Wednesday less than 2 hours had a dozen 12 - 13 incher's on the string, had to leave to make a Dr.'s appt. and then the rain came Thursday morning and have only been able to catch one or two each day since. The quality is still good just no quantity to speak of, I sure hope the lake settles and they pick up where they left off but I'm concerned that it might be over on the bank with these Summer style temps rolling in.

Anybody doing anything on Gibson in the creeks? They are definitely off the banks.

The last I heard they were back in 15 fow and being caught using minnows 8 to 10 feet deep over the tops of brush, but that was on Tuesday the 22nd.

Fished for sand bass yesterday about 20 @ 10" and under and one 14". All looked like were under feed, is their a short supply of shad? Is sand bass going the way of our Crappie?

I've not been out much lately, but last year it was "carpet shad" everywhere south of hwy 51 so I'd think they'd still be in good supply.
