rigrunner, I am truly sorry to hear of your loss of Southern Woman. I recall how much I enjoyed meeting the two of you at one of our earliest Eufaula gatherings. She was one of the first ladies that was active on the Oklahoma forum. I enjoyed her posts and photos and the two of you are what got me interested in Spring Creek Lake when you were still in Texas.

I'm no help on Oologah but there are several on here that are. I'm sure Reaper, Odie or some of the others will get hold of you. If you get a chance, you might try and attend one of our Crappie Camps. Glad to hear you are back.

Its a bit high right now, and I dont know how it has been fishing, but it was good last winter. Once the water cools down and gets into its winter pattern it should be great fishing. PM me later on in winter, I can meet you at the lake and show you some stuff.

Thanks Floyd for your kind words. We enjoyed the crappie gatherings we attended. The Southern Woman was an awesome woman alright. She loved people. I hope to get with some of the fisherman around here soon.

Went Friday and it was very windy so couldn't fish most of my spots. Did not do well.

Fished Oolagah for the first time on Saturday. Caught a lot of fish in the creeks, 6-8 foot in 14-16 FOW, water temp was in the low 50's. Pumpkin and Chartreuse was the color of choice. All catch and release so I did not keep track of the numbers. There were a lot of 1.25lb fish and a couple 1.5lb fish. Not monsters but would have made a nice mess of eaters.

Fished from around 1 til 5 today. I am scared I am losing my touch. Caught around 15 fish. They have been hard for me to find lately. Fished lower end of Lake up to around blue creek.
