Had 4 or 5 that were between 12 and 13" water temp was 82 to 84 and it was a hot one today. Not sure but seems like when we would get a cloud for a few mins bite would pick up. They were holding tight to the brush today but nowhere near as many dinks today compared to last few trips.
Went mid lake today. Water temp 75 deg. Wind out of south and white capping then switched to east. Lot of shad all depths of water but only small crappie.
A quick trip for me yesterday in the Spencer Creek area. Kept 5 10" fish with lots of short fish caught. Fishing brush.

Went out today and i only caught 1 nice 13 inch fish didnt catch a a thing after. I tried alk my spots at every different depth could not find any active fish. This has been 2 trips in a row the BigO has got the better of me. I found some balls of shad that looked like i could see sides of crappie coming up and hitting them but ciuld not hook one tried minnows about 5' deep in the balls them selves and threw jigs couldnt buy a bite. I saw one boat cleaning a bunch of fish so someone found them. Any ideas? On patterns or diff area of the lake blue creek has shut me down and that hasnt happen too often
Thanks. I understand your sentiment. But at oolagah a normal day is easily over 100 fish with at least 40 - 50 of them being between 10 and 13 inches. I have fished lakes with a 15 fish limit and have been happy to catch 15. It just isn't that way at oolagah.

For me to catch 35 crappie over 10" in one outing I would need a case of Dynamite. Some lakes two case.
