Ok, that brings up some questions. Are docks on public lakes off limits?
I've had dock owners on Grand lake get really mad when fishing around their docks, but it is a privately owned lake by the GRDA, so who sets their rules, and if your fishing docks on a COE lake, who says who can or can't fish around them?

From what I understand, GRDA does have rules concerning this. I think there have been buffer zones created on other lakes. I do know that you are not allowed to pull into slips OR tie off the someones dock with out permission.

I've never had a problem on Grand. Of course, I usually fish during the week and most of the homeowners are back in Tulsa then.

Unless there is a specific regulation on that lake, it is legal to fish up to docks on public lakes. As CR said above, you can't touch their dock. Some dock owner's do get riled up by it, but in OK it's illegal to interfere with someone who is fishing legally, not that it will sway them much if mentioned. I just looked at GRDA rules, and could not find any prohibitions in them.
