Can't remember the name of the stuff but I use a toilet bowl cleaner purchased from dollar general. Cut it by 50% with water. When I get home I'll get the name, or if EB sees this he can pipe in. He uses the same stuff.
Decided it was time to was the Eufaula gunk off my boat this evening. It was looking pretty rough with a very heavy waterline. During just normal washing I got most of the waterline off but it had already stained the fiberglass. I remembered I had bought some stuff last August from Nichols Marine that was supposed to work wonders for stains in fiberglass. So I put it to the test and have to say I am impressed. Just added a little to a rag and wiped it on. Within 30 seconds it was removing the stains. Then you just wipe or wash it off. No hard scrubbing or buffing. A little goes a long ways except for when you spill it like I did. Grrrrrr. I will say dont get it in fresh cuts. It doesnt feel good. Now my boat may not be bad compared to some but it was looking rough to me. Here is a little before/after pic of a spot on my boat this evening and this stain is after washing with marine boat wash. I will be using again thats for sure.

Tilex® Mold Stain & Mildew Stain Remover, at $4.00 per quart at Wal-Mart. I use this everywhere on my boat vinyl, abs plastic, outdoor carpeting and fiberglass no problems and cleans up great.

works toilet bowl cleaner works well you have to delute it 50-50
Josh the you can also use the Mr Clean magic eraser for it. Its gets the road grim stains off EB
Thanks for the unfo guys. The stuff mentioned is cheaper thwn what i use. I will give them all a try. See if i like one more then the other. The magic eraser has a lot of uses so if i can add the boat to it then that may be the winner.
One thing safety first wear safety glasses and gloves when trying new products and please don't mix chemicals
One thing I use on my motor cowling is Lime Away to remove the hard water spots. It also works on the back of the boat where those spots also collect. Spray it directly onto those spots and watch it foam n remove those spots them immediately wash it off since it contains sulfuric acid. Towel dry and wax. Works great and looks new again....Rangern
