I'd take any box anchors you want to give away. I have danforth-type anchors and if I can get them set, they hold pretty well. But if they break loose, they won't set again on their own like a box anchor will for my 22' pontoon.

The 1st picture is an ANCHOR. I use the blue about 95% of the time. The larger one is the one I set into the boat when the wind is higher than 20MPH. I set in the face of the giant yesterday with 3' swells, never moved. Once again light weight in comparison. The 2nd picture does such a bad job at what it does, I do have not used to even anchor a brush pile that i want to stay in one spot.

If you ever decide to sell that box anchor, let me know.

Dang Ledge, I'd need an extra boat just to haul those anchors around in. That some serious holding power!
