I hope i can make it to crappie camp and meet everyone. I did get to fish the gaines creek challenge last year and I'm interested in fishing the CDC tournament trail next year.

and hey Mr. Stinkeyfingers; I can't stand the not knowing any longer. I thought if I kept looking at it that I would eventually figure it out but now I just gotta ask- what is KD50TV?
Welcome aboard Slab Addict I grew up down there in that area. If you have a small enough boat to get in there Hartshorne lake has some nice slabs and the only 2 deep spots in the lake that I have found are 11' deep by the buoy and about halfway down the dam. this spot has some kinda pipe structure sticking out of the water with I believe some natural structure up against it that holds big crappie most of the year. You might want to check it out.
