Thread: Mill Creek Eufaula

its off of hiway 9 west of eufaula on the south side mill creek rec area

Look west of town on Hwy 9. About 5 miles I think.

I looked in the Longtown area on my GPS but still can't figure out which one is Mill Creek. You would think it would be marked.

I feel the same way about Gaines Creek. I see people refer to Gaines creek all the time, but on my map, it runs from about Hwy 9 down to nearly Krebs! So which area of "Gaines Creek" is everyone talking about? :o

Longtown is East of Eufaula and Mill Creek is West Eufaula. Unless there are more than one w/ same name as there r several "Gaines" Creeks.

I guess I should learn how to follow directions as two posts above said west and I was looking east. Thanks for pointing that out!

9 West out of Eufaula go 8-9 miles till you top the hill and turn left @ the big blue water tower follow the signs down to the camping area and the ramp is right there.

Thanks Lip for the specifics on directions. That was my next question. I don't know Eufaula very well but I'm looking for a good area that has a history of big fish and is a little out of the way so it's not so crowded like Crowder, Rock Creek and other popular areas right on 69 hwy. I like an area that has plenty of deep water, well defined creek channels and some standing timber as well as good spawning areas. Does Mill Creek fit that description?
