The Kaw Tourney will be March 4th, Check in will be from 5:45 to 6:30, after a short meeting everyone can leave to fish. Fishing times start at 7:00, lines out at 3:00 PM back to Jobi's for weigh in at 3:45, Check in will be a Jobi's One Stop in Kaw City, John will have some breakfast available, he carries a good selection of Bobby Garland baits, Timmy Tom Jigs, and Todd Huckabee Rods. He will have bait on hand for those using minnows. The store has a good selection of any groceries you may need for the day, fuel and Ice. John has hosted our tourney for years, please give him your thanks and your business when over this way. Also, if you plan to need Minnows comment on here so he has an Idea of how many to have on hand. Looking forward to another great turnout, Hope to see everyone there.

The weather forecast may change before Saturday, but if it doesn't, I'm likely going to back out. Fishing a new lake in 16-25mph sounds like misery to me. If I knew the lake well enough and was confident in some good spots out of the wind, I might give it a shot. I was going to pre fish Wednesday, but 16-39 mph wind sounds like a death sentence.

KCM I hope everyone is watching as you are, Kaw can be pretty ugly with wind, People will need to pay special attention as several ramps will become nearly unusable with 20 MPH south winds. Washunga is usually best option for the north end of the lake, and the old single lane/original at Pioneer marina for mid lake,
South end/Dam users can use either either osage cove or McFadden ramps.
