I have one. I have found best to do a factory reset before you do anything else. Then get into the menus and play with the settings. You will find that every different body of water will require different settings. They will also be affected by water clarity and temperature. Go to YouTube and you will find plenty of videos by Doug varenberger tittled tips and tricks. Those will walk you through just about any question you could ask. Try it for a little while, then as you run into things take a note pad and write them down. Then when you come back you already have questions detailed. One thing get you a couple of blank 3-5 gig SD cards. One to back up way points and another for screen shots. Learn to do screen shots. That way if you have something to ask a question about do a screen shot and you can post that picture. Works much better than taking picture with camera.
