    Default Gettin' ready on time.

The Wrangler posted about things taking longer than you expected. Reminded me of my brother Craig, who can repair equipment faster and better than anyone around. He has fixed equipment that all kinds of shops have failed on. BUT, he can't get ready to go on a trip. Whether it's heading out on a hay hauling trip, going hunting or fishing, or going for a horseback, Razr, snowmobile, or 4-wheeler ride, we always leave late. Just one example: A couple of summers ago, we planned a 3-day trip to a high mountain lake. He swore that this time we would leave the campground on time at 7 a.m. We left at exactly 7........p.m. We got to the lake at 2:30 in the morning. There were some campers there already, and they knew that there were no idiots who would wake them up at that time of the morning. A prowling bear, however...... We sang out loud and clear when we heard someone yell: "Grab the gun!"

I have a buddy like that. That boy can piddle around like no other getting ready to go. I found out if I tell him we are leaving at 5am, he will be ready about 7 when I really wanted to leave. But I have to be there at 5 to prod him along.
