I heard they were gonna take away shoe strings, and cassette tapes! Today, on my way to work I was able to dodge 8 death panels, fought 4 off with my 44, ran out of grenades though.... I heard from a friend, who has a cousin, who has a roommate, who's girlfriend's uncle's half brother's boss said "the abominable snow man would be nuked....only if he ever showed up in Africa...." Whew....Thank God! What is this world coming to!

Sorry guys, my intention wasn't to get a discussion on obamacare going. My only point is don't get complacent and think they won't try to control our fishing too. This ESPN article only covers some of the salt water implications but they're also trying to pass a bill to make all waters federal property. It's all abuzz in the cattlemen's community right now because that includes farm ponds, creeks, lakes, rivers, etc.

That may never happen, and I hope to God it doesn't, but don't think there aren't some who won't try it. We have a group in the administration now who will if you let them. Right now we have some in office that think all roofs should be painted white because it will save energy. We also have one individual who thinks animals are equal to people and be given the same legal rights as human. These people are in the presidents cabinet fighting for what they believe and you have to watch what they're doing so they don't take away your freedom.

With that being said, brewme, if you don't think it's possible and don't think it's necessary to watch what the govt does, then don't gripe about the results when they vote something through that you don't like because you weren't smart enough to watch and give your input. Am I a little more clear this time? My apologies if I sounded like a koolaid drinker the first time.

Wrong place for this. Try the OTCrappie.com site for religion and politics. You need to register again for that site. I hate people getting upset with others when we are only wanting to talk crappie. Stirring the pot only stirs up trouble. Let's all have fun here. That's why I loved the Eufaula meeting...no religion and no political issues. Just a great bunch of people who talked about their similarities, not their differences. Life is way too short!
