Dave Brown, I think you made a wise, but difficult, decision. Many of the attendees are “of age” or with “underlying conditions” and don’t need any unnecessary exposure to ANY virus or bacteria. And I also have been dealing with an issue that I wont discuss here. Bottom line, I think the camp should be cancelled. I do enjoy the fellowship at camp, but I think our gathering at this time is not prudent. Just my 2 cents worth. Guess I’ll freeze my 2 doz cinnamon rolls -maybe for summer or fall camp! Everyone, stay safe!

just cancelled our campsite may try to fish as well though

Thanks WW42, it was the right thing......You can FedEx the cinnamon rolls to me!!!!!!

I sent my agreement via our group email. The lake is actually 7 ft high right now and the gates are dumping water so I still plan to go and fish - just my wife and I, not as a part of a crappie camp. My type of social distancing.
Sent from my SM-G960U using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app

How did you cancel reservation? Can't find a place on their website!
-
For clarification the Camp is canceled right?????????
-
Yes, George camp is canceled but fishing is not!

Good point Redge. I'm thinking about fishing Gaines Creek sometime this week. Eufaula appears to have leveled out at 6.83 feet above normal. IkenI said the ramp at Gaines is long and steep and is usable. Stay safe.....dave
