dave is in #11. Cabins #12 and 13 are still available. There are also two cabins 14 and 15, located North of the group, that are available. RV sites on Quarry Island can't be reserved. Open to anyone that arrives first.

I'd like to be there, but I plan to be at Tub Lake in Montana, catching westslope cutthroats and throwing snow balls, while y'all are broiling. Should be able to make Pine Creek though.

Just an old man slip like the rest of us! If we don't kid Merle a little, he will think we don't love him anymore!!

That's the way that I figured it. Our family had a lot of kidders, including my mother, who had a great sense of humor and loved kidding around. I was in Montana right before she passed. She was medicated for the pain and was pretty "down", not at all like the happy woman she had always been. Everyone was very solicitous. In an effort to raise her spirits, I kidded her about being a mean old woman, leaving her cane in a position to trip her son. She perked right up, laughed, and said she had to be mean, since her son had turned out to be such an ornery cuss. My sister said it was the first time Mom had laughed in months.
The Good Lord gave me an ability to read people and recognize how to deal with them. It has helped in making friends, managing top-performing crews at work, and in being able to handle "problem" people in 43 years of officiating sports.
(Rambling and reminiscing is something that us older folks also do.)
