Thread: 2016 OKLAHOMA FALL CRAPPIE CAMP - OCT. 14 - 16, LAKE TENKILLER

I hate to even mention this, but I have to bail out on camp guys. I just got a call that they are taking my mother back to put her in the hospital(2nd time in a month) and I'm not sure if she'll be getting out any time soon. Plus I have to go out and get my daughter from Dodge City, Ks and move her to Ardmore that weekend. I told Kirk that I might have to cancel my plans because of the daughter, but didn't want to until I knew for sure when she was going to have to move for her new job. Now with my mother once again in the hospital I simply have to much on my plate at this time. I hope everyone understands and for those that I was going to show around some fishing areas I'm sorry for not being able to do so now. I promise you I will get with you and show you around just not camp weekend.

Dave Brown, I was down for baked beans for Saturday, so I guess someone else will have to pick that up if they feel the need to do so.

Again sorry guys, I was really looking forward to making camp once again.

Yes Alan they do have electrical outlets in the campground, but can't say for sure if they will have it turned on still. I know the Corps do turn some campgrounds electric off during the winter months, just don't know about Pettit.

Jamie, sorry to hear about your Mom. Take care of her - wish mine was still around. And, I would want to get my daughter out of Dodge too. Seriously, family is most important! And don't worry about the education. If I'm not bird hunting - I'll be at Tenkiller all Winter.

Alan, I've been told the Corps won't turn off electricity at Pettit until the end of November. Pretty certain that's true.
