Announcing the formation of a series of fun Crappie Fishing Camps for GEEZERS (anyone welcome to attend). The Camps will most likely be on weekdays and will be announced when several old GEEZERS need to get out of the house. RULE # 1: Fun events only............RULE # 2: There are no other rules! ........Oklahoma GEEZER Camp # 1: SARDIS LAKE, OK ........ Dates: TBD (Sometime between April 5th - 12th.) Decision will be made soon. Keep you calendars open.....

Merle, here's the tent I will bring for you to use. It's old, but still dry and very serviceable. The photo is deceiving. It's tall enough to stand up in and will hold two cots and a chair and small table. That's my grandson on a trip we (and Ike) took to Colorado when he was 16. He's now finished UCO (did it on his own) and is the band director at Sulphur High School (and the daddy of my great grandson.) Not bad for a kid whose Dad dies from cancer when he's a freshman in high school. I'm bragging!
BTW, folks....we are calling it a Geezer camp because it will be one of more to come camps to visit various lakes and will probably be mostly during the week to avoid tourists and boats. Anyone is welcome. Only two rules (see original post.)
