Muddbuddy try Sharpers and Limbo creeks up the north candian river. I think you can get in them with the lake up almost 2ft. get on your google earth map and find it, when you get in the there it will be loaded with stumps and buckbushes. I would take my waders, with a stringer and net get out on the bank and dip the bushes. If I had a muddbuddy I would be fishing lots of those type places. EB

Caught a few fish around Onapa Saturday.. I never found a consistant pattern the fish were wanting to hold to. Water temp was 58 degrees most of the morning and the last cove I hit that afternoon was 62. The shad and sandbass were thick, everytime I would find something that looked good on the finder it would end up being sandbass. Fishing was good, catching not so much...

Caught around 50 or so crappie on the poor North end : )> from Friday morning until Saturday early afternoon off my dock west of push hill cove keeping 22 very good keepers with largest pushing 1.9 lbs. Most of them caught inside my dock, although did catch maybe 10 males outside my dock but still in about 6ft of water. They turned off for good Saturday afternoon and have not caught a thing since then. Most fish caught jigging with BG char. and pink or pink and black slab slayers..

Caught one this morning while it was still cloudy here at Mill Creek. Large female. The old man that was there with me caught 7, 6 of which were pretty sizeable. He hit the right holes at the right time, I guess. LOL
Went back out after the sun started shining and caught nothing. Wound up falling into waist-deep water, so I called it a night. My phone and key fob survived, thankfully.

Eufaula boy load up with me and show me these good spots . You can show a newbie how to catch some slabs . Maybe find a new honey hole .

Did a sampling of the North end in the afternoon yesterday. Fished the creek by Hichita, Gentry creek and main lake coves as well as I could out of the wind. No decent fish. The big fish in the main lake coves were out from the banks at mostly 6' deep in 10-20 FOW scattered, gathered around standing timber and sitting over cover. Water temp was 62. I am assuming they were on the bank before and have moved back out because the rain and cooler temps on Sunday. Got 2 good thumps but could not really get them to bite jigs. You could catch a few small fish shallow. Gentry looked empty, didnt get a bite didnt see any fish in there on the finder. Hichita was slow, but I saw a few people with decent fish, too early still. A few small fish on the banks also. Water temp was 65.

Fished Gaines with clients Eric and Robin Hill yesterday and the wind dictated where we could fish. We found fish as shallow as 3' and as deep as 12'. Double Dipping was the technique with Timmy Toms Weedless Jigs and Fle Fly Crappie Kickers and a BG Slab Slayer mixed it. Colors were Electric Chicken, Buster Brown, and Blk/Pink. Had an awesome time with some very good fisherman. Thanks Eric and Robin.......Ranger

Hey Ranger/EB/Andy and others that do well on Eufaula. Not wanting any of your hot spots, just some general info. When you talk about Gaines Creek, are you normally talking between Arrowhead and Blocker Bridge, or south of Blocker Bridge to Juniper Point, or all of the above?
I've fished down to Blocker bridge, but never much south of the bridge. I've always been scared to go around Juniper Point. Heard it gets very shallow.
Most of my fishing has been in the triangle, Longtown area, and in Longtown creek.

They are talking about the south end of the lake. From HWY 31 bridge and SE of it.
