    Default Broken Bow archives

Dstreet and fished Broken Bow on Sunday. I went 20 years in a row but haven't been in several years. I forgot how beautiful the lake is, and how tough it was to fish when the fish aren't shallow. We wound up catching 4 crappie, a big sand bass, and a green carp. Darrell had his bottom lip pooched out until he swung a nice black in the boat. It was worth the trip just enjoying the scenery and the light wind. If you have never been to Broken Bow, you should definitely add it to your bucket list.

It is a pretty lake. I have not been there in 40 yrs. but might make a trip there this april when we come to Missouri to look at retirement homes and fish.

Slow slow. Been after spots and sand bass . Normally catch a few slabs.. have not caught one slab..

Been catching fish 75 feet deep...

Normal winter depth is 55 this is the deepest we ever caught fish.

Generation is the factor I believe
