    Default Skiatook Lake report

Fished skiatook yesterday. Found a place too full of timber for the recreational boaters to go. Caught over 30, mostly 10 -12", seven over 12", biggest was 1.23 LBS. Fished 4 to 10 feet deep, pitching and dipping standing timber. Black/pink and black/Chart wooly bees. Fish were biting very light, just picking it up or stopping its fall. Woodworker PM me if you want a fishing spot close to home. Name: IMG_20140524_164141.jpg

WTG Fishers! Those are some chrome looking fish, were they that way in person? I had thought about fishing a place like you describe. However TM won't be ready til next week, and there is hay to be baled.

Yup, all chrome. They were done spawning, not one fat female or dark male. Its a good thing that hay waits till spawn is over.

If chrome means bright and flashy colorful fish then I understand the term but I've been away too long and you guys have developed a secret code I'm not familiar with. Can you define chrome for me?
