very nice report Shink.
Been a while for a grand report, so here goes.
fished Saturday and Sunday for a couple hours each day. Got my 15 each day. 20 fow 18 ft deep. Monkey milk and chartreuse head caught the most. Caught at least 20 shorts each day. Healthy looking fish!Attachment 251070
Took a trip to Grand this past Sunday with my little boy. Hit the Twin Bridges area, had some really nice fish. Took a lot of work going from pile to pile hunting for the fish. I love making these memories.

My boy and I went up Spring River the other day north of Twin Bridges. Had to scan a lot of river before finding the fish suspended about 16 feet down in 20 feet of water. Ended up taking 8 nice fish home, smallest went 1lb and the biggest was 1.3.
That's a perfect number for a fresh dinner! Crappiekirby, do you prefer up the river (if it's not blow out by flood) or main lake in the winter on Grand?
I live over in Kansas so Twin Bridges is easiest for me. I don't always catch a ton up the river but they are usually 12 inch or bigger fish.
If I want a guaranteed limit I will go to the main lake, but the average size is 10 to 12 inchers.
Made it down to the dock for some relaxation Saturday for a couple hours around 10. It was on! All nice fish too. 5 in the 1.5 pound range. 12-15 depth in 18 fow. Black and chartreuse was the ticket. They were stuffed full of 2 inch shad.
Went back Sunday and it was sloooow. What a difference a day made. Fronts and all.....
Got up before daylight to fish at the docks but the fog was so thick I couldn't see my truck out the window so stayed home because I had to be back by 1130. Glad you found them Grandgpaw
Lake O the Cherokees and Big boats that cause 'Tsunamis.
No yuppies yet. Lake is full of small fish. Hard to get keepers.
