I was out Tues- and Weds. afternoon, and was fishing the shallows in Hickory Creek across from Taylor Ferry North. I caught two perch, and one small bass in about an hour and a half. I will admit i was using a minnow crankbait, but have had pretty good luck with it catching crappie before. The fish I caught hit about 3 feet off the bank in about 2 feet of water.

My Son and I fished the Toppers area this week from 7A.M. to noon, along the bank and we put up 69 crappie that were 10 to 13 in. long. They were in water that was about 6ft. deep, and they were out about 50 to 60 ft. from the bank. We where using min. and jigs.

Yes there is a 15 limit per day per fisherman. It took us 4days to catch the crappie I was talking about. So we could have kept 120.
