There are two fishing buoys just east of Denver point. I was fishing between them in around 13 fow. I was fishing about 8 feet down. Using minnows and and a minnow looking tube jig. Put the garlic stuff on both.

I was over a brushpile or rockpile or whatever was down there. I left a couple of hooks in it. I was closer to the south bouy. The largest one was 13 1/2"

redneck there are several brush piles between the two bouys some to the east and some two the west of the straight line between them, I scoped out the area with the side scan when the temps are right you can do real good in that area. my favorite spot is in the middle of the bouys to the west side of the line its a pretty large pile. good luck and good fishing.

sounds good to me. I haven't been out lately. I did go out and check out Wes Watkins. Mcloud now owns the lake and they dropped the fees on the lake and it shure looks like it could be full of crappie. The bait shop on fishmarket road on the south side of the lake has a picture of some big crappie that were caught on the 20th of August they all looked 10 in. or bigger. May fish that lake some since Drapper is closed.
