    Default Alum conditions, grass !

I camped 3 nights last week and tried to fish Alum Creek, but the channels were so full of grass I pulled out and tried slow trolling. I was trying to stay about 100-150 feet off shore in 20-25ft of water and about every couple hundred yards the graph would go to 3-5 ft and you could look over the edge and see the top of the grass and the drag would start singing. I finally just gave up, never seen that lake that full of vegetation , anyone else having the same issues ?
