My day sucked. Couldn稚 find them. Put 5 keepers in the box and 1 good size bluegill. Over 4 hours fishing. Did much better today at Shenango lake.

Went back today and man was it tough. Beautiful day but those winds from yesterday put a shutdown on the bite in the area I was fishing. Only had one Gill in the box at twelve o’clock. Didn’t give up. Moved up lake to a similar area that was just a foot deeper and found some fish. Quit at three with 17 combined crappies and gills.

Had a good three trips last week to mosquito with my friends. Sunday Atlas fished with me. We got two limits of crappies and fifteen gills. Found them in 6 ft brushpiles. Tuesday took Tim. Got forty five crappies and gills hang gliding in seven to ten feet. Thursday John and I put twenty eight more in the boat. I kept twenty five for myself all week. Jig and bobber worked well in the shallower water.
