    Default Eastfork

Is East Fork still any good for crappie?
It used to be the only lake in Ohio that held crappie HERE.

Tons of small crappie at EF. Been that way the last 3-4 years for me. Something needs to be done to get them bigger. It will happen on its own eventually I assume. Used to catch a decent amount of crappie in the 10-11" range but 8" has been more like the norm for me there the last few years.

I love the lake but don't think I'll be headed there again this year.

I am not familiar with East Fork, sounds like the lakes here in SE Ohio, lots of small Crappie. I travel 2+ hours in and out of state to find quality fish.

I would say the size has improved in the last 5-6 months compared to the last several years. We have done a lot less sorting. Just glad to be back fishing after a few years away. Granted I would like to see more over 11/12”. Eastfork
