I'm still alive...been trying to deal with all the Senior year of High School stuff for Dale and his business and work. He got a New Camaro and we've been working on it for Car Show season.
Actually been out fishing Alot this Winter...with no ice except for the week around Christmas, I've been able to sneak away from work and fish.
Walleye fishing has been tremendous so far, freezers are close to full, Crappie have been slow....I found a Japanese technique with 2 trailing hooks and I've started catching more Crappie in cold water...normally they short bite or taste it, and now they get hooks.
Also got a new swimmer in several colors from Megabass in Japan to try...and I dyed some more Keitechs Chartreuse for dirty water and cloudy days.

My new HD carry case (Home Depot 10 bucks I think)...got tired of the clear Plano ones breaking.
Also my New Japanese toys that I really like...but as you can see, I'm still the same ol' Keitech fisherman! lol
The curly tails are Keitech also...3 inch!

Thanks Redge...I'm trying a few options for early season short bites.
This is a Japanese technique, but I'm trying to turn it from jigging to swimbaits.
Now when they "taste it, or mouth it" they get a mouth full of hooks.

Fished again yesterday and can say the Gators have the feed bags on. They were knocking the crap out of a decently paced swimbait.
When the wind switched to the North everything stopped.
It's too bad you can't take good pics and use them, but all my pics showed locations.
Find Rocks, Find Walleye...they liked White, Pink/Chartreuse, and Orange/Chartreuse in the dingy water.

The entire dam side of the lake is closed.
All the parking lots to COE areas are padlocked closed.
At this time, the Main boat ramp, Marina, and ODNR East side of the lake are open.
