I'm looking at the latest river forecast and it looks like Markland Pool is going to dip down to about 35' tomorrow, which is still 6' + over pool. I think it's as good as it's going to get with more heavy rain and cold temps coming so I'm learning toward giving it a whirl vs. going to EF. Looks like they aren't pulling as hard and I'm thinking the creeks have cleared up.
Anyone fish the river creeks when it's that high and do any good? I'll post how I do if I go. My biggest concern is how easily I'll find my holes. It will be a test of how good I've done marking waypoints :)
